What do engineers want when considering a new opportunity?
No frills, straight-to-the-point information that allows them to check the necessary boxes in order to pre-qualify a conversation.
It’s simple. It sounds obvious. And the vast majority of employer branding content will never accomplish this.
Why? Because many employer brand leaders talk about the things that they think are important and relevant—not what actually matters to candidates at the top of the funnel.
If you’re not going to answer an engineer's questions upfront with content, good luck starting a conversation.
Let me repeat: Upfront with content.
This means hands off, no conversion needed in order for an engineer to get the information they want.
They have too many opportunities to waste time on companies—especially startups without any brand cred—that want to gate information and play games.
